The Northwest School is an independent, coeducational day and boarding school in Seattle, Washington, for students in grades 6 through 12. It is known for its rigorous academic curriculum that is based on experiential learning and inquiry-based education. There are various electives for students to choose from such as digital photography, ceramics, and theater. The campus houses a state-of-the-art performing arts theater where students engage in music, dance, and theater productions. Athletics play a major role in the everyday lives of students to keep them physically fit. Sports such as soccer, volleyball, and ultimate frisbee are just some of the activities they can participate in. Many families strive to gain entry to ensure a sound college-preparatory program that will give them the edge in their future college applications.
However, the admission process can be difficult as they can be very selective. Only students with exemplary academic achievements are considered and accepted. If you are interested in sending your child to The Northwest School, early preparation is the key.
