Testing Policy: Standardized Testing
VES has adopted a test-optional policy for all applicants and will not require students to submit standardized test scores as a part of their application for admission. Students choosing to submit standardized testing should submit score reports that correspond to the chart below. VES’s school code for the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) is 7972. Please be sure to request that any score reports be sent directly to VES or email official score reports to admission@ves.org.

REQUIRED ENGLISH PROFICIENCY TESTING
For all applicants for whom English is not their primary language, we require that you submit a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score as a part of your application for admission. The VES school code for TOEFL is 8110.
We also accept the Duolingo English Test in place of the TOEFL test. Applicants can email their Duolingo score reports to admission@ves.org.
