San Francisco Girls’ School is an independent, college preparatory, boarding high school for girls. The school intends to provide young girls with a healthy environment and enough resources to become innovators and leaders in their chosen fields, especially in STEM. Unique programs offered at the school include an Innovation Lab, a Finance Program, Senior Capstone Projects, University Research Opportunities, Internships, Speaker & Mentor Series, and Visiting Industry Professors. These programs allow students to expand their knowledge, build connections, and create meaningful relationships while pursuing their passions and academic interests. The STEM Education Center supports the students, along with students from 12 other all-girls public schools, in preparing for future careers in STEM with more in-depth and specialized STEM courses.
